Our Stations

Griffin Fire Department has four fire stations, two which house rooms for volunteer resident firefighters. Our stations are strategically placed to provide the quickest response to our community’s needs, volume of calls, and geographical location.

 

Station 13-1 (Headquarters) stat1  3707 Steamboat Loop NW

Station 13-1 is our headquarters. This station can house up to 6 volunteer resident firefighters, who call this “home”.

During regular business hours (8a.m. – 5p.m. Monday – Friday) you can find our administrative staff here, along with some public offerings such as free address signs you can order and free notary services and blood pressure checks. A meeting room is used for the weekly Tuesday drills, the monthly commissioner’s meeting, and public meetings of community-based non-profit organizations by appointment.

Station 13-2 is our only other housed fire station capable of holding up to 4 volunteer resident firefighters. It has on site training props for ventilation and fighting vehicle and propane fires, and a 3 story training maze with loads of surprises. It also has a meeting room available for meetings of community-based non-profit organizations by appointment.
